Jesus was a borrower. He was born in a borrowed stable, rode in majesty into Jerusalem on a borrowed donkey, ate his last supper on a borrowed table in a borrowed room, was given a borrowed crown of thorns to wear, hung on a borrowed cross & laid to rest in a borrowed tomb. He walked the earth on borrowed time. He was stained from the foundation of the world...but the borrower gave so much in return...
Like the bread he offered his body, like the wine he poured out his blood. He gave his life, his death, his love. Celebrate the free gift of grace in joy & awe.
